Telederm Appointments

Appointments for telemedicine consultations can be made for certain conditions using various software platforms.

Please note that only specific conditions are suitable for teledermatology consultations; for example, skin cancer and mole checks are not suitable. Our dermatologists will determine if your condition is appropriate for a teledermatology consultation.

• Pre-consultation photos: Please email photos of your skin condition prior to the consultation.

• Consultation fees: Fees for telehealth consultations are generally equivalent to face-to-face consultations. Medicare rebates are usually, but not always, claimable.

• Prepayment: Prepayment is required before the consultation. Payment can be made by credit card, direct bank transfer, or online payment.

• Referrals: Referrals should be emailed to info@shadesdermatology.com.auu, with a request for a telehealth consultation. Please refer to our Telehealth Policy for more information. Please ensure your patient calls Shades Dermatology and an appointment will be offered at that time. We do not arrange appointments via email.
