Dr Heba Jibreal is Shades Dermatology’s Founder & Principal Dermatologist. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice, with a particular interest in medical, paediatric, and laser dermatology, as well as skin cancer management.

Dr Devita Surjana is a general dermatology physician with particular interest in the treatment of psoriasis, eczema, acne and cutaneous malignancies.

Dr Barsoum is extensively trained in the assessment and management of hair, skin and nail conditions. He has a particular interest in biologic therapy for eczema and psoriasis, acne, autoimmune and blistering diseases, as well as the surgical management of melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancers and keloid scars.

Dr Shao has a wide range of interests within dermatology, including complex medical dermatology, skin cancer detection, paediatric dermatology, hair disorders, and vulval and genital skin disorders.

Kristy is an experienced Registered Nurse specialising in adult and paediatric dermatology. As the Education Liaison Officer for the Australian Dermatology Nurses Association, she actively contributes to advancing dermatology nursing education across Australia.

With qualifications in Cosmetic, Allergy, and Dermatology Nursing, Kristy brings significant experience in laser treatments, along with procedures such as chemical peels, wound management, and biologic therapies.

Kristy is dedicated to delivering compassionate, holistic, and patient-centred dermatological care.

Michelle is a highly experienced Registered Nurse with over 24 years of clinical practice across diverse specialties in both Australia and the UK.

Now specialising in Dermatology, she is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident skin.

Michelle offers personalised cosmetic care & advanced skin therapies tailored to each individual’s goals.

She is dedicated to delivering safe, natural, and personalised results, supporting each patient in reaching their unique aesthetic goals.

Anne is a skilled Registered Nurse with extensive experience in medical, surgical, and procedural dermatology. Holding degrees in Biotechnology, Nutrition, and Cosmetic Nursing, she combines scientific knowledge with compassionate, patient-focused care.

Her passion for laser and surgical dermatology drew her to Shades, where she is dedicated to educating and supporting patients through personalised skincare and treatment plans.

Lara is a Registered Nurse with 7 years of clinical experience, including the past 4 years specialising in adult and paediatric dermatology. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing and has completed postgraduate studies in dermatology nursing.

Lara has a strong interest in the safe and effective use of advanced laser technologies to manage a variety of skin conditions. She is passionate about delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care and is dedicated to supporting patients and families in understanding and managing their dermatological conditions.
